Biography

I am currently pursuing my MASc degree in Mechanical Engineering. I completed my B.Sc. in King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). The Senior Design Project during my undergraduate studies consisted of finding a method to incorporate solar energy as a replacement for the heating element required in the Membrane Distillation process, then building and testing the new system. Studying Material Science courses developed my interest in the field of material design.  This led me to pursue my MASc with a focus on the design and manufacture of composites.

Outside of academics, I enjoy exploring Kelowna, hiking and catching up with my favorite novels.
