Biography
I received my Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences from the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research and CSIR-National Physical Laboratory in New Delhi, India. During Ph.D., I developed and design anticorrosive self-healing coatings for mild in marine environments. I have authored 25 papers, and 3 books, and has more than 1580 citations with an h-index of 15. Additionally, I have co-invented three patents in India. Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Engineering, University of British Columbia, where I am co-supervised by Dr. Abbas Milani and Dr. Mohammad Arjmand. Previously, I have worked as a Postdoctoral fellow in South Korea at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (KAIST) and Korea Institute of Science & Technology (KIST). I have also worked as a Researcher at Uttaranchal University in Dehradun, India. Over the years, I have been honoured with various awards including the CSIR Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) in 2016-17, the Technology Licensed Award in 2017 and 2018 from CSIR-National Physical Laboratory (India), the Dr. D.S. Kothari Postdoctoral Fellowship in 2018 from the University Grants Commission (India), and the National Post-Doctoral Fellowship in 2021 from the Department of Science and Technology (India).
