Biography

I’m a MASc. student of a mechanical engineering student at the University of British Columbia. I began my academic journey at the Iran University of Science and Technology through my B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, where I discovered my passion for studying composite materials. In my undergraduate thesis, I focused on practical uses of composite materials by utilizing finite element analysis to research “Reinforcing the corroded bottom plate of a storage tank with composite materials.” Nevertheless, I still felt that I needed more academic learning to better comprehend and fully understand these advanced materials. Thereby, I chose to pursue graduate studies, and I have been fortunate enough to join Composites Research Network (CRN), having the opportunity to achieve my objectives under the supervision of Dr. Abbas Milani.
