Biography
I started my post-secondary journey right as the Covid-19 pandemic started. My first year experiencing university life was online at Okanagan College, then by second year I could finally get on campus and start exploring! After another year of studies, I graduated with my associate of science degree and transferred to UBCO, where I plan on finishing my bachelor of science in chemistry. My goal is that once I complete my undergrad, I can continue further education in a master’s program, then after completion be able to teach chemistry at a post-secondary school. I hope to share the magic of how our world works all the way down to the molecular level with passionate young scientists as they pursue their academic journey. The CRNO is a great opportunity for a young undergraduate like myself to get proper lab experience outside of a classroom setting, and to get a peek at what a master’s program may look like to ready myself for what’s to come! If you can’t find me on campus in the lab, I’ll most likely be at the gym, at my favorite coffee shops, or downtown doing my second most favorite type of chemistry, bartending!
