Biography
My career in engineering began in 2016 at the University of Toronto where I began my undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. During my undergraduate degree, I partook in the internship program, completing a 16-month internship with Comtek, a composites focused aerospace company. With Comtek, I learned many composites manufacturing techniques from a hands-on perspective and worked to characterize materials through mechanical testing. I also worked on multiple FEA models to determine composite failures. Upon completing my internship with a new passion for composites, I became the Aerodynamics and Composites lead on the University of Toronto Formula Racing team where I designed and manufactured the aero package for our 2020 and 2021 vehicles. In September 2021 I will be starting my MASc. with the Composite Research Network to continue research in the composites industry.
