I am a PhD student of Mechanical Engineering at the University of British Columbia working on applying informatics in material science with focus on fiber reinforced composites. During my undergraduate studies, I developed my knowledge in different domains of Mechanical engineering. In my Master studies, I focused on numerical analysis of viscoelastic composites. Following graduation, I worked in car manufacturing industry in Iran as a quality control engineer for fifteen month. I joined CRN on September 2017 where I’m currently working on material property prediction of woven fabric composites using non-destructive tests and machine learning algorithms.
