Biography

I am a PhD student of Mechanical Engineering at the University of British Columbia working on applying informatics in material science with a focus on fiber-reinforced composites. I have experience in experimental research, simulation, and programming for different academic and industrial projects. I have a Mechanical Engineering background, and during my job as a quality control engineer in the car manufacturing industry for 15 months, I had the opportunity to learn technical communication and product development. I joined CRN on September 2017 and completed my PhD on material property prediction of woven fabric composites using non-destructive tests and machine learning algorithms.
